I miss my Polo!

On my way over to Doncaster yesterday i was admiring a slammed silver MK5 with some subtle little touches! Made me really want my old GTi back! But like Chris and James, the worry of the gearbox and limited power output makes me snap back to reality!!!

Am constantly trying to persuade my girlfriend to get a Polo when she passes her test, but she insists she wants a clio! :oops:

yep i realy missed mine once the sun started to shine this year....but it wasnt quick enough and the gearbox worries put me off having another!

so i bought another gti....but decided to rectify those problems :lol:

That's why I never intend to sell any car locally .. I just don't want to see it about after incase it looks a bit rough.

the garage i traded in the polo to isn't particularly local, but the people that bought the car are lol

Ha ha still have mine. It's kinda stupid, I want to make mine a little faster and know I could be like most people out there and buy a faster car, but I ain't most people. I totally respect the Mk5 GTI for what it is, but a little more power would make it even more special :)

lol, its all well tho matt, gearbox has now been done :) well everything as now so wheel now to come seems i had to pay for gearbox from my wheel saving's :( :D

Did the gearbox actually break, or did you get it done as a precaution??
