this is an interestign arguement.

that may be a pointless seeming post but im just trying to encourage this little discussion as i am actually learning something lol.

what gearboxes could be fitted to solve this problem? would a TT 6 speed do anything for it? will that even work, are they longitudinally mounted like alot of audis or are they mounted horizontally?

but then you have big lag, smash the box and its an excuse to fork out for a better one LOL
