Yes it may be 450 but what is the actual quality like? I mean is it a perfect fit? Ive seen m3's and other high end motors with carbon bits that dont fit properly... At the end of the day you get what you pay for... If u want a bargain (no offence btw) you're best off getting your bonnet etc wrapped in carbon... thats what id consider doing to keep costs down...

defies the whole point of a carbon bonnet, instead of reducing weight you'd be adding...

Thats the reason ive never had any carbon polo bits made!
People just dont seem 2 realise that 2 getanything made is expensive!!!
Molds tend 2 cost 1k then that has 2 be made up by dividing it between however many units you are going 2 make/sell!!
Ive done a few items for the cosworth forum people (the other world im in) but it works there as people know its not cheep and any thing i get made i can sell in large numbers 100 normaly which brings the price right down plus alows me 2 make a little bit on them (for the time/greef it takes) with out my feeling like ive mugged people over! I can add £2-£3 pound and it makes up for my time but here i feel u would struggle 2 sell anything over 10-15 units which makes the items 2 expensive and i would not make anything on it so they would end up costing me due 2 lost working hours, lost intrest/ credit card charges on the money id have 2 pay out from the begining!
Hope this makes it clear!
And good luck 2 u and your mate his stuff looks good quility!!

Hey.. where is he based???... The picture of the chair looks sweeet!!
I'm in south east london and think the chair looks UNREAL!!!!
I would def take two of those... hopefully it wont be too much if hes already made the mold??
Only thing is, I would like to sit in the chair first (for obvious reasons)

Umm, yeah smart ass i know but in reality who gives a flying f**k about saving 20 kg in a 100hp polo... jeez, thats really going to make the car fly.. if you must spend 800 quid making the car quicker then sell it and buy something that can actually be tuned with decent results...
better still...
Puting a carbon bonnet on a polo defies the point in owning a polo... cheap, afforable hatchback (even in gti, cc form)? Instead of keeping costs down to save up for that big 6 cylinder motor you want you'd be wasting your money...
Just for reference, i was defening your prices in my first post and offering a MUCH cheaper alternative to those who will ruin your thread by going on about how your items are overpriced. IMO, unless you're really Scene and you want it for bragging rights (in which case i dont see why you'd drive a polo

) dont bother with proper carbon goods... spend it smoothing something or on some Kw's lol
Sorry for the rant, good luck.
