looks awesome dude!!!...us 20vt polo owners should get together sometime and have a bit of a meet. think you might as well take the front grill out completely. looks mega mate....abit like deja vu though haha

So what have they actually done to get the engine to fit?.... How much chopping/welding have they had to do?...
Got any more pics of the mountings/engine underside etc?

Hmm. With my new job think I will keep my GTI for the tuned 1.6, then buy a red one and put in a 1.8T

Awesome....just awesome!
I am really toying with this idea now! My mate has just bought a Leon Cupra R 210 and it shifts! But in a Polo it will be amazing because of the weight in comparison to the Leon!
I cant justify spending 7-8k for a conversion really though...Sooo any extra hints and tips any of you guys can throw me way would be very welcome!
What drive shafts were used?
Any photos of the mounts?

first thing i did was take off the grill lol. just took pics as soon as i got home lol.
a 20vt thrash sounds good but you all live so far away
yeah ilive in chesterfield but am in sheffield nearly everyday i part of lowdownvw.com so you prob would ave seen me at some point
