Yeah my leads and coilpack were very corroded to the point one of the pins in the coil pack simply snapped off when I pulled the lead.
Got a secondhand coil pack from eBay for £18 and it seems to work fine but the leads don't look too clever so will be buying a new set from VW next pay day :)
