Damn...I'm really keen!
But South Africa. I don't know if we could work something out? Let me speak to a mate who'd probably been keen! Only problem is, with the exchange rate going belly up, it'll be a big expense.

Cost wise, can we use the MkV pricing as a guestimate? 140GBP? That would equate to around R2300 -

From what i've gathered from the site...
MK5 Golf one -
Pod on its own = £79
Pod including Gauge = £139 to £159 depending on gauge chosen.
On the other hand, the Beetle one is less at £45 for pod only.
so I guess it they would be in that kind of price range???
MeTsU = If it goes ahead, i dont mind posting to SA for you. You'd have to pre-pay me first, and whatever extra the postage costs you'd have to pay too.
If thats any help add name to list.

Well is just a 'feeler' at moment, so not a comit to buy.
I guess you should (like I guess everyone else has) take the following into consideration - Possible cost of item/estimated postage costs/ may take time to manufacture and get to your door.
No idea if this is the cheapest but - Parcel force charge approx £50 for a 1KG package to Capetown.
Maybe would work out cheaper collectivly if a few from SA expressed interest?

Thanks for the post looks like a good bit of interest, I'll purchase a vent assembly next week and have a good look to see how feasible this is, depending on design and sizing etc it might be a goer.
