What exactly is the fail then if it's not present?

Just had a look an no where in the MOT test does it state anything about the rear everse light!!

Also getting a work associate to check This, seeing as he is in traffic lol

Checking the reverse light isn't part of the test weather you have one or not the only way the reverse light will come into the test is if it is stuck on, then it will fail for having a white light on the back of your car

Ill put my hands up, i've made a mistake, even if the reverse light is stuck on it can't fail the test, nowhere in the mot manual does it say the reverse light is part of the test, so if it isn't part of the test, how can you fail a car for any reverse light related issue
just get a lhd light cluster thrown on it!!!
