I find top end pretty irrelevant though. I'd rather be able to take any 106 at the lights from a stand still. Rather than know that if I was to be on a clear motorway I could win if we were both flat out for several minutes.

Ha a 106 gti standard will p*** our cars there a whole 1and a bit seconds quicker to 60, ours is like 8.2 and the 106gti's are like 7! And the handling on a 106 gti is way better aswell, i was nearly gona get a 106 but didnt like the whole chav scene u get with it, and the luxurys in the gti r the future compared to the 106 gti lol!
106 gti always have the edge, and im pretty sure there top end is the same isnt it? 127mph?
Im not a polo gti hater btw just i know 106 gtis r the s**t lol!

I drove my brothers 106 today omg EWWWWWWW nastey didnt like nothing about it lol
Comfort > Performance lol
And as for the handling polo GTi so much more fun lol. and remember my brothers is a Rallye 1.6 8v, they come as standard with only 90 BHP my brothers is tuned to 145ghp but the polo really feels like it would destroy it. As for the 106 GTi i have no idea about that. ill have to check parkers.
anyways, lets get off the subject of that tack they call a 106 lol.
I caught my bumper spoiler on a curb at work....its freaking ripped it :/ not impressed, will any 6n2 spilter fit it? or does it have to me a GTi one?

Has to be a GTi one, standard 6N2 splitters are much smaller.

I'm unsure as to where to go with the car, I dont want to do too much to it as I dont really wanna jus throw my money away. But I do have a few things in mind.
Firstly the wheels, they need refrubing so badly. The paint job the guy got on the wheels must have been so cheap. Its flaking so badly, worse than a hobos dandruff. So I am going to get them put back to silver. Unless anyone else has got any ideas for them. Ideas are indeed welcome hehe
I need a new spilter as stated earlier but thats an easy fix so collecting that on Friday.
I needs lowering but I dont want to compromise the Ride Comfort so I suppose I'll have to figure out a way to make that work for me, suggestions please, Coilies or Shocks and Springs?
Also I'm think of a Stainless Middle and Backbox, and eventually a manifold. Backbox would have to be a nice suttle twin pipe.
I'm thinking of Getting the Car smoothed. But As for the back bumper I'm Not too sure what to do with. Im not a fan of where the number plate is on it. I'll have to look at what you guys have done with some of yours. Rough estimates on the Sides begin smoothed would be helpful so I can get an idea as to how much i need to save up lol.
Other than these things I dont know what Else I really want to do with the car. I know I could stick an Induction kit on but to be honest I dont really want to tinker with the engine, only as far as changing the exhaust system lol.
Any other little mods you guys want to share or suggest would be great =D

I think everybody has had the same problems with the BBS alloys, they are a nightmare to say the least.
