Hmm well maybe your right Penguin, but you need to be of a certain speed to keep with quicker motors, a 1 ltr cud never keep up with a 1.6 on a track, purely because it hasnt the grunt to get anywhere near it, where as a 1.6 Could keep with a 2ltr.

If every1 hag a nice fats GTi then the GTi wont be special anymore. Personally i would much rather have my car look nice than go fast. The speed limit is 30 in most places around here so having a GTi wouldnt mean much. I think a 1.4 is the perfect "inner city" engine. Even Josh is selling his GTi for a- wait for it- an even faster diesel that still does 40mpg!!!

diesel prices are said to be going up clumph... :shock:
diesel is the cheaper option for economical travel, but for how long i ask?

Only just.... buy brand new and it can take over 3 years of motoring to earn back the higher part costs, higher initial price and more expensive fuel.... not to mention the higher insurance in some cases!
