Jon, did simon say that it had front fogs by any chance? After the assault on my wallet by the friendly VW dealer it may have to be next month now.

Hi, I spoke to Simon today, who was very helpful. He has got some fron fogs and will do the lights, bulbs, switch but only one grill for £95. How does that price sound? - seems a little pricy to me, as brand new ones work out at about £150 (without postage as the other price is) from Martyn at VAG parts. :?

Just been down the breakers, they have 1 2nd hand fog (o/s) but they can gat the (n/s) new. that would prob work out about £60, then all you need is the plastic bits from stealers there not that expensive an a switch, the breaker might even have one handy.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip D17NS X, but I've bought a new second hand set of lights and am getting the other bits off Martyn at VAG parts. The whole lot should work out about £90, which I'm happy about - much cheaper than a stealer! I'll hopefully be fitting them some time next week - should be easy enough from the excellent DIY guide by polo2k (tho I think the photos aren't working - all I can see is red crosses :? )

Cheers :D

Hi,

Finally got and fitted my lights last night. They are mint.

Thanks for all of the advice - I'd say I'll put some pictures up, but it looks like any othe standard Polo with fogs at the moment (my first mod!), so when it's more interesting I'll put some up. Cheers to Polo2K for the excellent fitting guide as well. :D
