Hopefully they will, or at least send up the correct ratios for the garage to change round. I got hardly any power in 4th or 5th and it's annoying.

Alex, yes it's a Scorpion alarm - don't buy one!

Whats it like when you git over 6000rpm in 3rd then change into 4th?

I know you shouldnt have to do that to get it to pull in 4th but does it make any difference?

It's definately a bigger drop in revs when you change up to 3rd, 4th or 5th.

gosh I'll have to keep an eye out for this, having a reconditioned box put in as we speak, aswell as new front nearside wheel bearing and hub and uprated kw springs and shocks.
don't get the cheap coilover set from ebay, it totally messed up my car.
why can't they just compare the boxes before they put the new one in? or did they think you just wouldn't notice? s**t like this really pisses me off...

^^^ Latest on my gearbox. Basically the guy said my old box was fecked and couldn't be rebuilt anyway so was scrapped. And the ratios were exactly the same as the ones in the new one...so what explains the different revs is the question? :?
