If your referring to the swirls, if you do a similar detail like above it gets rid of them. Cars come out of the showroom with swirls already on them because dealers wash them using a bad method. This becomes more clear in proper daylight.
Another thing you get is marring and smearing from drying, this isn't permenant however, and a good glaze will get rid of your drying imperfections. I use one after every wash to get rid of these.
