im liking the headlights, but i do also think a lighter tint would do it more justice as the front screen stands out abit too much.

is that wat every1 thinks then, de-strip the side doors ..... ?
im having my car re-sprayed and adding a few new additions, 1 of the things i was thinking of changing was the side strips....?

but also mate, if you keep the headlights tinted then do the same with the rear lights too, get them tinted, but if i was you, like what i did, get proper new lights, with a light tink, much nicer and smarter than doing it yourself.

1 other thing, the section between the side window and the rear side window, if you look on newer models of cars you will see that they're black, change them to black, they really make your motor stand out then !

have a look at wolfrace alloys, they aint bad.
de-badge the front grill, also de-badge the boot lid too, fill it in and smooth it off, get rid of the polo logos etc, alot smarter !

but yeh, keep us posted on what you have dne etc,

cheers mate

thanks for the replys im very much an oem+ whore really i like to keep things as close to standard as pos so prob will stick to original vw wheels gonna debadge to tidy the front and get ride of side strips debating on a bonnet bra but dont no really if be ott on the front gonna get some german plates

with the rear lights 16v standard lights are already tinted so will stick to them, headlight protectors prob would of been better not so dark but as i say all for fun so not to bothered really as they only on for shows and a few meets if i come across another set then i may do a lighter tint on them

Take a look at my progress thread as its based on my OEM+ 6n, some of the stages of my car might help you decide to go for that route or not :)

quick update i have taken off the mud flaps and have changed the headlight bulbs to phillips xtreme power bulbs which i would recommend as a budget alternative to hids. i have ordered a debadge grill from the bay for 20 pound and plan to take off bump strips next sat will put up new pics next week and debating getting a bonnet bra

also having a problem with temperature sensor i think because the temp gauge dont move wat so ever unless im stuck in traffic and waiting still for long so will look for diy guide for that is there anything else i should change while im doin this
