I am actually planning to do so with this kit : http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.ph ... cts_id=267

actually it does not look like it's pain in the ass to install ... looks pretty straight forward :!:

with getting these, is there some some of transponder in the original key that deals with the immobiliser that you have to transfer into the new flip key? or is it a case of buying the new pack, wiring it in..getting the flip key cut and bobs your uncle?

nope your righti did have to take the transponder out my original key and put it in this one... risky buisness incase you do smash it but worth it in the end... as long as your carefull you can pry it out the original key with ease and i just used tesco own brand strengh glue to put it securley in the new key, oh and make sure you order a bl;ank key as the one that comes with it is a dummy and wont work... the blades grooves are the wrong way round

My keys grooves are correct?

Also, is there any other better way to connect the pump other then with them cruddy splice connecters?

It depends if you order the correct profile for your key in the first place

Well, the only other way is to cut and crimp, but that makes a real mess of the OEM loom should you wish to remove it. Splice connectors are very good providing you are careful not to break them.

Splice connectors are awful!

You push them on, and there not sharp enough to cut through the wires shielding.

So i found my self making a slit, and trying to line it up!

Tedious and annoying,

So with crimping.. it would be 2 wires to one connector, and 1 to the other connector, and join the connectors? Or should i use piggy back connectors?

You cut the wire, two wires in one side, one in the other.

Good quality splice connectors are where the difference is. Cheap ones, that are often the wrong size, work poorly :P
