Yeah, VW dealer just couldnt offer any discount at all, not even free options. So we just had to cancel it. With the options we are specifying, it totals a discount of well over £1000.

Will let everyone know when we have a build date.

The options have been updated on the site now:

Xenons - £720
Panoramic Sunroof - £760
Cornering Function Fog Lights - £35

Deako, can you tell me if climate control come standard it dont say it on the website, if it dont im canceling my order i aint paying 18,000 for a car that aint got air con as standard

Air conditioning is standard.

Climate control (Climatronic) is £355.

I'm optioning Climate. But then im saving a lot on retail.

Leather multi-function steering wheel at £110, electric glass sunroof £760 (though this is not clear as to whether it's part of a panoramic module; it would appear so from the illustration), and bi-xenon headlights incorporating the LED daytime running lights at £720.

We have had an initial expected delivery date of the 10th August. Subject to change of course. There are conflicting reports currently, some are saying a July release in the UK and some are saying September.

Getting increasingly frustrated with VW now. My order still hasnt been put onto the VW dialogue system. Dealerships are still unable to fully progress the orders apparently. Now have been given an expected delivery date of August 23rd, but my order hasnt been placed yet.

Just wondering if any of you who have ordered a GTI have had any news when it will arrive.

Last weekend I thought I would drop in on a few dealers as I was passing on my way to see parents. Anyway I was sure Wayside at Milton Keynes would have one when its just round corner from VW UK. They don't reckon their orders for demo cars will be here until Dec as their build dates aren't for another 9weeks.

Another dealer reckoned January before their demo arrived.

Are customer orders going to be delivered quicker than those?

Climate Control doesn't come with the GTi Polo??? WTF.
