Good tips, though has anyone else done a wrap? I wrapped my front and rear badges in carbon fibre look vinyl from 3M and colour coded the backing plate on the rear one. Though I have a feeling ill need to laquer the wrap or apply some resin or something :s can anyone help?

Cheers

Jack

Depends what look your after really dude, obviously most carbon wraps tend to have a matt finish.
You could apply some of that paint protection clear vinyl on top of the wrap to add a little extra protection and give it a more glossy finish.

I think it looks good with a matt finish really but its all personal choice

Yeah it wasnt so much for the look more protecting the vinyl. Im pretty sure you can pick up matt finish laquer anyway, just a little job I thought Id do over summer hols. Still yet to get it on though theyre sitting in a drawer back home atm!

I havent seen any Matt Finish Lacquer before but Its only meant for paint to be honest, its not to be used on vinyl.

Oh right I see, well Iv got some of the wrap left over so I might see how the laquer finishes on it.

Thanks for your help :)
