GTi 1.6 16v metal/alloy air intake?

Yeah they open up the engine bay for a reason as the engine bay is like a massive oven, function over looks on the typhoon and beleave me it works well. 4000 revs upwards it sings and sucks up all the cold air you could want. Its a win all around i reckon and uv got the k&n performance from the best kit they do. If ur bay is clean then it works like mine, the other option im toying with is getting the vacum hose made out of aluminium and that will fill the gap with a shiny peice of ali, make a nice bracket insted of the crappy bmcda rubbish ya see in bays on here..... Seriously its so worth the money...
