kicker solobarik one of the best subs ever made.

my JBL GTO 14001 amp is arriving tomorrow which should be a good match for the Kicker L7. Hope the weather's forgiving over the weekend so I can hook it all up!

You manage to sort wire the power cable out yet?

Not yet Ash, the power cable and everything arrived with my amp today, so I'll give it a go either one of these evenings or most likely on Saturday...hope its not raining...also, where's the best place to put the ground?

i ran another 4 guage power cable to the earth on my battery, no matter where i tried to earth it to in the back of the car it wouldnt work.

There's an earthing point in the left rear quarter panel...

I wish i knew that before the effort of pushing two power cable throught he firewall lol

Lol pushing two sets of 4-gauge power cables through the firewall? i found doing one was hard enough, ending up with bleeding hands! the grounding point which Ash pointed out was a life-saver and grounds it perfectly. the sound is earth-shattering with that kicker sub sitting snug in the boot now

Looking at either getting the Clifford Intellistart next...but need to save up the pennies...
