What boost do you run ?

Sorry Guys but i dont have a G40 (an S2 in stead) but curiosity has got the better of me! What is the standard BHP and Tourque of those little things and what can a moderatly and well tuned ones do?

Original specification:

Max. output, bhp (DIN)/kw 113/83
at rpm 6000
Max. torque, lbs ft/Nm 111/150
at rpm 3600-4400

Mild to moderately tuned 130-140 bhp, well tuned up to 170 bhp or more is possible. Depends how far you want to take it.

pitstop developments are the nads for g40 bits and g60 bobs

After my charger received some Pitstop Developments attention, and a 68mm pulley I now get 0.8 bar boost at about 2500rpm, rising to just over a bar at 6000rpm. Shame the headgasket blew! Or at least that's what I'm hoping it is...

ive just fitted my boost gauge and im hitting 12/13psi maybe more at only 4k revs. Thats just with full blend treatment. YEE HAAAAAAA

Forgot to say, im still running the charger in so need to stick below 4k so it should be higher once i am able to boot it
