On red, red piping is impractical, but it suits silver and black down to the ground
How easy are they to fit ? and what is the piping made from ?
The reason I ask is I found some on ebay but just want to make sure its a good item and not cheap rubbish.
Thanks

Very easy to fit provided you use a good adhesive or tape.
Get this stuff to secure it to the grille, works a treat and is not permanent
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DOUBLE-SIDED-VHB- ... 27b19ef070
Unclip the grille and double side two layers of gel tape across the outer inside edge of the grille.
You need to double it to build up the layer, then cut the grille strip to size place it over the tape so its inline.
Then simply secure it to the grille, I stuck another layer of gel tape over the top of the strip too for extra strenght.
The gel tape is double sided and has a red layer which peels off. Its basically like super glue but in a tape form.
If you need any help or want pictures of how I did it then just let me know.
Ben

Its cheaper and quicker just to get a roll of coach line tape from halfords and put it on with a hairdryer

Looks more OEM and lasts a good while too

Yellow on black? hmmm not so sure unless you have a yellow/black combo theme throughout the car.

The red strip works well with most 6N2's but hats off to you for trying something different.
Ricky (RS_GT) used a Green grille strip on his Green 6N2 and that looked quality.
