It took me a best part of an afternoon, but then again I did it in December when it snowed heavily the day before with limited daylight hours lol. I've used the 8000K H7 bulbs which give a slight blue tint. The sidelights are just your standard 4-LED bulbs. Check it out below:

It hurts my eyes just looking at that pic

Some pics of the problem which doesn't look like condensation, more like faded plastic or roadsalt (I'm just saying what it LOOKs like, I realise it's not faded plastic lol)

Indeed, looks like faded plastic. And that too on the outside...how it only happened on one side and not the other is anyone's guess
Does it feel a bit rough to touch compared to the driver's side?

Nope, polised both headlamp units to make sure it wasnt excess salt etc build on on the outside of the lens. Not sure what to do tbh - took all the caps off and left car in direct sunlight for an hour or so the other day but still the same, will try the hairdryer on them but I dont think theres a lot I can do...... I dont think I'll get a replacement headlight though... if I do go down that route, I'll get angel eye projector lenses, with current xenon bulbs would look good, with possbility od HID if/when I can afford it!

Diesel engine = extremely cramped engine bay, I think I may have to remove the bumper. Might forget about it for now and come up with some homebrew projector solution at some point.
Here are a few pics of 9n3s with MTECs in them (hoping the owners don't mind me nabbing their pics!)

Whats the verdict on LED sidelights? I understand that for a bulb to be E-Marked it has to be compliant with the law which at the moment only covers filament bulbs, so technically illegal to run LED sidelights, however in order to pass MOT they must just emit a white light forwards, which they do. So what are the odds of ever getting stopped for having LEDs?
Cheers,
