Spent another day cleaning bits and pieces on the GTI 8) Filled up for the first time today aswell

Gave the car a polish and wax this morning, shiny 8)

I've decided i'm not going to do any carbon in the GTI. Keeping it clean, simple and fresh 8)

Me and my bro have got a custom sticker coming, which is going to look uber cool 8) Not giving it away yet though

Well tomorrow I am going to attempt to carbon my front splitter whilst on the car 8) The paint finish isn't brilliant on it, so thought I would carbon it :D

Will upload a pic of it tomorrow when done :)

Look forward to seeing how it looks greg, would like to do something with my splitter ( either coloured coded to the car or carbon)

Just spent 2 hours carboning my splitter :D Very pleased with the outcome! Was very tricky bending it around the curves. I believe no one has done this before 8)

Comments welcome 8)

I'm not a fan of carbon, but I've gotta say, that looks really really good!
Did you really do it whilst on the car? Really good job! Looks perfect!

Haha :D I used 3 sections, and carefully joined them together, you wouldnt know :D You have to stretch it keeping the pattern straight. It's very easy stuff to work with :)

Thanks Emma :) I had another splitter which I red vinyled, but when i held it up against the car, the shade of red was completely different so would have looked stupid. So leaving the splitter on the car thats on there now, i decided to carbon it 8) I'm glad i didn't use the red now :)
