10W40 is the best oil for the GTI mate, I would just get 5 litre of the Syntha Silver from Volkswagen its cheap enough and perfect for the GTI

most service parts are cheaper from VW then most other places.
last time i serviced the polo i got a 5l bottle of oil for around £9, i think retail price its still only £12(plus VAT) which is cheaper then own brands of other places (even with trade discount) ;)
if i remeber correctly antifreeze is cheaper, screen wash is deff cheaper (well you can get a super strong 1l bottle of screenwash that works out better then 5l of super weak stuff ;) . oil filter, and i think sparkplugs are cheaper to, Transmission fluid is cheaper and powersteering fluid.

Ordered some new wing mirrors! Had a slight accident teaching the other half to drive In which we lost a wing mirror!

Have ordered some new ones and some new hose to fit my induction kit properly! Its basicly the same as a CDA but made by a different company lol

Nah just bought 2 off a guy on here... black ones as I am going to be wrapping the roof soon...

The make I got is ASH ( Auto Silicone Hoses ) cant find it on there website but there are some on ebay, there cheaper than the BMC and as far as I can tell there is very little difference! Found this one on Ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cold-Feed-Ind ... 438wt_1037 ...

That Induction kit looks like a bargain at £75

Very similar to the BMC CDA and the ducting looks better too, the only thing I would be concerned about is the quality of filter element.
The BMC filter uses very high quality filter element with a lifetime guarntee (like K&N) but to be honest it is over double the price

I'm thinking the rear spoiler is stuck on with double sided tape you should be able to see it if you look at your gaps, but with the rear brake light I reckon there will be atleast two bolts holding it on aswell. If you open the boot there will be two blanks I think which should house the bolts/torxs. There will be loom aswell for the light...

It isnt stuck on with tape, it has a seal going around the spoiler to stop water entering the brake light holes, it is bolted on with two 8mm bolts on either side in each corner when you remove the 2 covers and another couple of torx bolts in the centre!
