yeah reckon it'll be cheaper to do it yourself, i would of if i realised he had done cause i payed like 30 quid for them. They do make them a little dimmer but not drastic, polo lights are pretty good anyway.

Just wondering if anyone knows if they exist and if they do how easy the swap is?
Thanks Jake

yeah the standard one is nice! good height to reach comfortably but i love the look and snappy change the stubby ones give!
maybe, i dunno im sure i remember seeing just a shorter stick somewhere, ebay perhaps, but i had a look and no luck! i could just be imagining things haha. aswell on ebay they sell gaiters that are really small for the 6n2 so unless it leaves half the stick exposed they must be for a short stick?

Maybe mines stubby then? It's got a mall ish gaiter. Maybe you're thinking of the short shifter? Think they fit off of a ml3 golf but they're a pain in the ass. Could be worse my other halves gear stick in her horrid French car looks like a willy! Think yourself lucky !

yeah just had a look at yours and looks the same as mine! hmm, yeah must be the short shifter, haha thats pretty unfortunate! we have the same wheels, and you need to get some coilies on your car! make it look so much better!

There are short shifter kits available for the 6N2 but they don’t actually reduce the size or position of the gearstick.
B&M do a kit but it’s very expensive and hard to source these days, you’re looking at £150+
To do what you want would take a lot of modifying and wouldn’t really look any better imo

No worries fella, yeah your best sorting out a new gaiter & gearknob
You may be able to trim the gear stick but I must admit I have not seen it done before
