It's amazing what a 6ft7, 17st chap (me) stood at your desk with his arms folded can do to motivate you!

Fiancee took her car in to the dealer on Saturday morning, put my case forward (he was talking to me not my fiancee who owned the car, common faux par) and the chap said he would get the lads in the workshop to test it, see what it said. Apparently the car was set up on the variable service (motorway driving) and should have been set for extended (town driving) as my lady only does 6 miles to and from the train station each day, with the odd blat up the M1.
All sorted for the princely some of 89 of our finest pounds.
Shouldn't be like this, but hey.

I've just clocked up 16k miles and no service indicators as yet.

My car journeys are long and reasonably high speed though so I was expecting my car to be in the latter end of the 9-19000 servicing interval.
