soon as i got home i tried is and it works a treat

Try pressing and holding the boot button! It pops the boot open but you still have to use the badge to open.

yeh tried that too, dont see the point tho, as you still have to grab the badge to open it. it not like is a proper boot popper like on a e-class saloon. unless im missing something !

I have done this .... Sat on them in my pocket and woke up the following morning to find all the windows open on my two day old A4. Thankfully no one dodgy had walked by!

now that is good !!! the boot comes up quite fast haha it would defo knock someone over if they are standing too close to your pride and joy haha

Haha now that would be funny.. Id luv to have this tho.

Love the windows up bit, had Minis for years and they only come down on the key.
Loads of cars do the windows down bit BMW's VW group etc. but not many close on the key too.

Hello Guys!

I know this thread is an old one but I have got a problem with this "feature" and I hope someone could help me.

I have got a Polo 6R 2009, 1.4. Last week my generator broken and I replaced it with a new one. Since the replacement of the generator, this feature with the key is not working. I press and hold the lock/unlock button, but the windows dont go up or down.

In general, the windows are works correctly, sometimes the window at the driver side is not automatic, I have to hold the button.

Anyone have some suggestions what should I check?

All of the windows need to be in "one touch" mode, where a single press of the switch will lower/raise the window completely. If any of your windows don't do this then lower that window & keep the swicth operated for a few seconds. Then raise it & again hold the switch. After that, "one touch" operation should be enabled for that window. Once all four are in that mode then the open/close from the fob should work.

I "reseted" the windows as you suggested and the function is works now!
