That's better
What make of springs did you buy? Are they just shorter springs or coilovers??
Re: Finally got it lowered...
origional vw lowering spring kit, 30mm drop all round, definately recommed as it rides so much better on the 17's now.

Part Number: 6R0 071 677 B
Re: Finally got it lowered...
Can you please post up the link where you got these from? I've searched the web even with part no but can't really find anything? Are these not the VW Racing springs for the Polo GTI? Just wondered...
Re: Finally got it lowered...
No they are different springs. The Polo GTI's lowering springs are 15mm than normal. You can buy the above part number from:GR33NIE wrote:Can you please post up the link where you got these from? It's a reliable website and you won't find them cheaper elsewhere.

Re: Finally got it lowered...
hi, i dont speak german either! so i was wondering if you could help with the link, theres 3 seperate sets of springs you could buy, what ones did you buy? and would they all lower 30mm? sorry im clueless haha!

Re: Finally got it lowered...
hi it all depends on the axel weight of your polo, this is available on the vw website or in the handbook, depending on the axel weight will depend on which springs to purchase.
Re: Finally got it lowered...
There are 3 different springs available based on front axle weights: 830kg (part number: 6R0071677A), 860kg (part number: (6R0071677), and 960kg (part number: (6R0071677B). Rear axle weights are all 770kg.
