I am thinking about little lowering as well. How to get started?
First of all i am still choosing wheels. Heard that anything above 16* wont work too good on bad roads + 1.4i engine.
Generally speaking will my car get less comfortable if i lower it? What would you suggest for 16* wheels?

They're actually 18" TSW Nurburgring 18x8 8)

Are we talking about the same grey 5 door in this posting? On page 1 with the boavista alloys.

The other car is hurdys black GTI :D

GTI is lowered by 15mm over the standard polo from factory :D

Wheels - Team dynamic pro race 1.2 17x7.5 with 215/40/17 yokohama parada spec 2 rubber

Ride is firm but not back breaking, round corners it instantly put a smile on my face :D feels alot better and should of come from the factory like this imo!!!

Defo one of the first mods that need doing.

KW Variant 1 coilovers. Backs, no helpers or bumpstops. Fronts, no helpers, can go another inch lower, but it scrapes a touch on full lock on 17's. Needs spacers front and back.
