if you have the proper tools yes, but note the fact that you will need an elevator. i went to a friend's service and he helped me.

I went for it and bought the intercooler

, seems like I've cut more off my bumper than you already and the bumper still doesn't seem 2 want 2 go back on properly yet :s

try modifying the way to attach the intercooler. make it shorter and weld it after. be sure to make it exactly the size you need.
here are some photos of my polo. because i didn't have the steel traverse, i decided to cut the stock one and adjust it ...

Got there in the end, used longer bolts and washers to push the intercooler back slightly
Cheers for the help looks brilliant, boost has dropped slightly which is a bit annoying, did u hav this problem?
