Right when I see the lady at work who had her gti since new I'm going to ask her... Actually I'm mid email now ha !.

Right I have confirmation...

The lady paid just under 14k for her ex demenstrator model it has all extras apart from heated leather seats and came with only 1k on the clock.

This has resulted in me spending my lunch in her car fixing her rear washer and damp problem... I hope your all happy ha ha !.

Yeah mate base model was around £12995 but with optional extras such as leather seats it pushed them beyond £14K for the top spec models

Does sound about right the 14-16 with extras like sat nav leather sunroof etc...

Seems expensive now but at the time it was probably the best small hatchback on the market in terms of spec, no other hatches of that size had xenons as standard.

Shame to see them available for so cheap now though :(
