Eventually I'll probably get a GTI Grill, spray the iconic red piping black and take the GTI badge off and replace it with the following badge. Still looks OEM and your not offending any GTi owners!

Wow mate, that looks lush... I was thinking about a white polo with the green grill iv seen on the net.

Could any of you 6r owners tell me the diameter of your rear VW emblem please?

I'm considering a cheeky retrofit as the 6r badge looks much more modern

You can do but it leaves a plastic scar I guess you could call it unless you replace it. I got a GTI grill for my 1.2 and like you didn't want to seem like I was saying I had a GTI engine haha, instead of replace it I just carbon wrapped it, makes it pretty much invisible

That would look canny mate, you could even paint the AMG badge the same colour as ya wheels

Well I kinda did just state I hade AMG wheels
And thanks ppl. Was thinking bout green strips like on the pic I posted with black badge and not sure bout black or green AMG badge. Think green may look too much thinking bout just getting it black.
But I'd rather find a honey comb grill without the GTI badge. AMG idea is my last resort

been looking into it but this means you will have to smooth the bumper and bonnet and fitt the holes in
