Yep, happens to me as well. Usually the local 17 year olds who think that they're pretty cool revving up their 1.0 wheely-bin while doing that 'pointing at their eyes, then at you, and then down the road' thing out of rubbish action movies.

I usually just turn left while they scream off into the distance. It really pisses them off...

I've always toyed with the idea of getting a GTI and de-GTIing it. Remove radiator grille badge and red trim and rebadge the tailgate as a 1.2. I'm sure hilarity would ensue if you got into a tussle with someone  Unfortunately, I do 200 miles a week and feel the TDI is better suited to me. Costs me about £25 a week in fuel.

Slightly off topic, but how many miles do you 9n3 GTI guys get from a fully brimmed tank till the light comes on? I suppose I could try a PD130 and rebadge it as an SDI...

Ash :)

While you're at it you could also put standard springs back on, buy some 15" steelies with 165/70 tyres and some Halfords hub caps, de-colour code the bump strips and door handles and finish it off with some 'P' plates 8) Ballin'

Going all Attenbourough for a second

It works for these!
