just a few simple mods done to mine make a difference though the plan was to go the whole hog with all red silicone hoses would have looked nice i think???????

Yep, there are 6 hoses in total but I only put in 5 as one of them looked particularly hard to install, the other 5 are easy, but they are a good kit and look really nice.

Sounds really good, wish I was in that group but now haha, Do they add anything to the driving of the car, or are they purely aesthetical?

The group buy has ended now but you can still buy them. But no, they don't change the cars performance they just look nice. Although they will be more durable.
You could also get a forge intercooler to throttle body hose which would look good in the engine bay, they are only £50. And you could get the forge tip comes off the turbo £150.

Yeah I'll pick them up then at some point, planning to do all of them mate, just funding is abit short at the minute but all will come in due time :)

I've only got the standard intercooler ATM, will these fit that? Or does it need the fmic first?

I have used black silicone hoses so they don't stand out much but you get the idea.

Just chipping in here, yeah that's the inlet manifold and just at a guess I would think it got taken off, prepped the painted with some heat resistant paint
