Managed to find a tsi back box on German eBay which I'm going to modify into a delete but keep the original mountings to make it easy to fit, will puts some pics up when it comes and I get on with it.

backbox arrived today so i've made a start and cut it open ready to put a piece of pipe in to delete the box


also got are first gt in today which goes out on friday, beautiful car goes really well, not as revvy as the tsi though

right, got my exhaust backbox delete done went as planed and only cost me £60 in total to do, the sound is amazing just as i expected after hearing one on an aus forum, if a nice exhaust note is all your after no need to spend a fortune on a fancy system just do away with the backbox! combined with the induction kit and forge bov the car sounds immense and throttle response has improved. remap next!

Wowzerz! That sounds mint mate!! That sounds just as good as some of the top end exhausts IMO!

Yes well pleased with it, does'nt drone in car spot on and easy to do and a 5 min job to swap over to standard if needed

On the off chance you still read this , what diameter pipe did you need for the pipe through the backbox? Doing it to mine thanks!

Not been on for a while, decided to do a few bits with my polo, bought a gti grill wrapped the red stripes blue and swapped the gti badge for a tsi badge, front splitter and booked in for a remap on Monday. Winter wheels on while I refurb boavistas

I was going to do the blue lines on my gti grill too but went with black in the end, couldn't find many with blue lines to give myself an idea as to how it would look but yours does looks good.

Have you got any more pics of the splitter? Been debating whether or not to get one. My bumper scrapes on the 35/55 springs which puts me off the splitter but everytime I see a picture of a polo with a splitter, I just think they look sooo good

Yes fits all standard polos, there all the photos I have for now just fit it tonight will take some more in day light

Think the blue really suits that. Takes away the gti wanabe look and gives it its own unique look. May have to get one of those splitters. What remap are you going for revo?

No not revo, friend of mine doing the map not a generic map done all my cars and is a wizard at it!

Cool. Hoping to get mine done soon. been quoted £250 for a custom map to take it to 125bhp
