Mine is just as dark tbh mate had no problems thus far (almost a year) il post a picture later but ive also got a thread on here if you find it a few pages back :)

They are clearly too dark. Perfectly legal for them to pull you for it.

They are quite within their rights to pull you for just the tints. Anything that they deam not road worthy (I.E. against regulations) is a traffic offense :(

you are lucky that they didnt rip/scratch them for you too. thats what they do usually to make sure you remove them

Were those tints done by the dealer? They look exceptionally tinted! On mine only the rear doors and boot are done. Could see why they pulled you over but if the dealer did it bit unfair to get fined!

You could always just remove them from the front windows. Don't the rules say that you can have whatever you want on the back but the fronts need to be clear enough to allow you to actually see out?
