New mod: Shark Antenna
I changed the rod antenna by a shark type. The model is that mount the golf scirocco, etc ... Does not exist shark antenna to receive radio am / fm, but to avoid diagnostic errors and maintain the reception of AM / FM changed electronic circuits. Highlights Tools: multimeter, vcds, soldering iron, metallic glue, small screwdrivers and 22mm to remove the roof antenna.
Remove panels from the A, B, and C to pass the extension on the right side of the roof. Pass the extension behind glove compartment until radio navigator drawer.
My vw polo has a diversity system, which are two antennas for radio am / fm, the rod antenna plus the rear window antenna with amplifier. After the change, I have not noticed that the radio reception has deteriorated.

Hi raul_sbd,
If you install it correctly work properly. The important thing is to have the necessary tools.
I guess your Chinese radio navigator has video input jack RCA. Among others you can install this Rear View Camera on vw emblem:

If your radio navigator had RGB video input you could install this one:

For oem:

In any case, you have my support in order to install the rvc properly.
Spanish: Te envío un mp.
Edit: Sorry for my mistake. I thought you meant the logo rvc because lately just make me questions rear reversing camera.

Hi mate, Thk for the comments. This car is a hobby for me. Sometimes, many gadgets are unnecessary but I do hang out installing them.
I consider the essential xenon because I travel a lot at night.

That's a great looking car, but I don't understand why VW have brought out the R Line with just 90ps ? Can you get the 105ps engine in the R ?

I think on the continent it's more like an option. I've just been on the VW Germany website, and you can just specify it as an option pack on a 1.2 70PS. I reckon VW should bring the 1.2 TSI 90PS over here, especially now Ford has the Ecoboost 1.0 in the Fiesta. The 1.4 NA engine is beginning to look a bit outdated...

Hello
B1N9S, Thanks. Yes. You can buy with 105 hp. The 90 hp has 119gr emissions and this avoids paying registration taxes in Spain. It is just the limit.
Anyway, you're right, R-Line are letters too large for 90 hp.
vc-10, also I think that the 1.4 85 hp seems to be outdated, but even a small engine you hold entire rpm range at all times. Obviously it's fun to push the turbo but absence torque at low rpm, requires you gearshift use. Each has its advantages ...

Yeah I'm sure it's a perfectly good engine from behind the wheel- but when at the pumps it's a different story compared to the 1.2 TSI (and, as you pointed out- there are tax savings too). I think that the 1.2 TSI 90PS 119gr would sell quite well in the UK- it's in the £30/year road tax group and £0 initial road tax just as in Spain. My parents rented one in Spain last September (and I'm hoping to get one when I go out this summer- I've gone for a 'Seat Ibiza or similar') and absolutely loved it. Very efficient and drove very nicely. But VW UK are often a bit weird with engine availability. In Germany the Golf 'Comfortline' (ie our SE) is available with the whole engine range, from the 85PS 1.2 TSI up to the 140PS 1.4 TSI ACT. I can't imagine it would cost them anything to make these engines available. The Polos for the UK market are made in South Africa not Spain like the rest of the EU market, but I know that the 1.2 TSI 90PS is available in New Zealand, which is also RHD and their cars are also built in South Africa, so it's not like the engine isn't shipped down to ZA.

You're right. Regardless of where manufactured the vw polo, voslkswagen should offer the same products for the same area. And more knowing that the 1.2 tsi also manufactured in South African and exported to NZ.
It is difficult to know because the 1.2 tsi is not available for the UK market.
I also did not know that in UK taxes were avoided CO2 emissions, thanks for the information.

??????????? yes of course the 1.2TSI is availale in the UK, I have a 105PS 1.2TSI.
I can see why the 90ps is the option though with the 119kg tax bracket. But TBH, not knocking your car, I think it's a great that young people have a great option for such a good looking car, but as a VW fan, I would prefer to see the "R" badge on a higher end engine spec. Possibly better spec'd than the GTI.
