My GTI is on order too. Build week started today it's getting closer! when's yours due? Are you tracking it on the vw website?

Car has now been built and just awaiting for it to be loaded onto the ship.

Well as far as I can work out the car is currently sailing along the English Channel heading to the port of Emden on the ship 'Emden'

I have tried tracking my car with the VIN on the website shown on another post an nothing is coming up, as I work it out because my car is coming from Spain VW use different transport company from there. maybe for polos built in South Africa that might be different.

So instead I have look at the scheduled departures from the port of Santander and as far as I can see the ship Emden is the only one to leave last week heading to Germany which is VWs main distribution port.

This should mean that the car shall end up either in Southampton or Grimsby by the end of the week, as all ships are turned round within 24 hours of coming into the port.

Just been to see my car sat in the garage at my local vw. Pick up is next Thursday can't wait, have you got yours yet?
