Re: Polo R retro fits
I'm new to the forum, I've been lurking for 2 years and thought it would be good to say hi. I've read up on lots of useful information here. I use to have a Polo 6R 1.4 SE in candy white, it had knight alloys, front fogs, full body kit and GTI honeycomb grill, I also had CCTV fitted into the car due to crash for cash and vandalism issues. I don't have any pictures hosted anywhere unfortunately.
I've been looking for someone to sort out some work for me. I have an R-Line now, the 1.2TSI is fantastic but I have a few problems I'd like ironing out. It should have come with the Bury kit as standard from the factory but it wasn't fitted, the dealership have offered to fit it free of charge (so they should) but I'm not interested in that aftermarket look, I'd like a RNS 510, Bluetooth and a highline GTI cluster fitting and was looking for a rough price to get this done. The dealership have told me it can't be done, which I just huffed at, said ok and goodbye.

Re: Polo R retro fits
SCOOBA, Have you got any information about the Highline cluster as I've been told that if you fit one of these to the 1.2 R-Line you have to disable the immobiliser, is this true?
Re: Polo R retro fits
i'm looking to do a bit of work on my polo its a 2011 SEL if thats any use.
I'm looking to upgrade my stereo from RCD310 to RNS510. I don't have bluetooth installed in my car nor do i have a multi function steering wheel.
Ive seen a few posts about me needing a bluetooth module. I'm just after i few pointers in the right direction really on what i need.
