It should be fine

As long as it's a vw specialist that preferably uses genuine parts I wouldn't have an issue with it.

They are a middle man and will farm you off to a garage of their choice

I would personally find a good local independent vw specialist than use them.

Only reason why im thinking of these people is a major service include brake fluid, coolant, spark plugs and much more for £230.
Compared to VW who wants £359 which is only for service & brake fluid.

So after studying my service book & speaking to a few VW Specialist garages, they say i wont really need a MAJOR service until I hit 60k miles.

If that is the case, then all i need is spark plug replacement, oil change and brake fluid.

Do you all agree?

Sounds about right. A vw specialist garage will know what's best.

Hello guys.I found out that the code of the oil filter on 1.2 tsi polos has changed since July 2010.

It started as 03C115561B and since then the new one is 03C115561D .

I bought my car in April 2011.In many parts of the car i can see written May2 2010 but the 10th letter of the VIN Number is a B which means it is a 2011 model year.

So,does it go like this:01/01/2010-31/12/2010 ------> 2011 model year or
01/01/2010-31/12/2010 ------> 2010 model year ?

I will be doing my own servicing when the warranty runs out.

The 3 cylinder Polo engine is the easiest l have ever done. The oil filter is right at the top of the engine, and everything else is so easy to access.

VW use Castrol Edge LonglifeIII 5W30, but some says, to use different brand, I changed oil in mine GTI when I had 10000 km on it, VW service put Shell 5W30, but very important are those numbers 504.00/507.00!! They said is good to leave 30000 km long life interval and change the oil in 10000 or 15000 km! What I will do. :)

It's not about the oil about it has to do with maintenance so i think it would be better if i asked here.

I have a 2011 6R 1.2tsi with 105hp.What type of brake fluid do i need to buy?
