VW Polo Blue GT fuel consumption

I have had my Polo Blue GT for a year now, and have found the fuel consumption get a little better over that time. I only ever use Supermarket Unleaded 95 RON (as per the filler cap). I would class my daily travel as extra urban and I am averaging 51 mpg, however I have recently driven on a 3 hour journey using mostly motorways and I managed 61.2mpg although I am getting no where near the VW figures I am happy with this as its acceleration is very satisfying for a 1.4 litre engined car. I am disappointed in the poor telephone kit as I expected it to use the RNS-315 for this.
