Yeah I might try get her a bit lower but I would need to get a set of coil overs as I just have shorter springs fitted at the mo..
Hit a pheasant last week and killed my lower centre grille got a replacement coming but was really lucky not to damage my rad and intercooler ..

Engine management light came on the other day... Got it plugged in.... Had no miss fire so was thinking lambda sensor and yes bank 1 .. Light still off after it was reset but I bet it will come back... Had the same thing with my golf 1.8t ... Is this quite a common problem??

I get the light on occasionally when there was a lot of surface water about or I drove through a large puddle. Used to scan it and yup lambda sensor bank one came up on the reader. Just used to clear it and it wouldn't come on again until the water or puddle scenario. Just passed an MOT and the exhaust gas analysis was spot on so there really isn't an issue with it coming on occasionally as far as I am concerned.

Even though after a reset it is still off??? If it comes back I will defo be replacing it...

hi mate, its maybe even just worth checking the wiring to the lambda. since its under the car a little bit of water may be causing a slight short.... some tape will probably cure it if thats the case!
oh and i called up about recalls and apparently mines have all been done!
