Sorry I have no clue what the MDI is... Any info would be great lol...
Also - does anyone know why my car doesn't support voice function with my iPhone? And also it doesn't show caller pictures that are stored on my phone... Can I work around this?

You don't need a mdi with the new stereo you just use the usb port

My iPod (and presumably all iPods) is not supported if its plugged into that USB port
