Have you got the number for GSF, also what does it stand for and how much is it for a pair of indicators including postage?

GSF= German Swedish and French

They sell cheap parts, either proper manufacturer's parts or similar for:

- Audi
- BMW
- Citroen
- Mercedes
- Peugeot
- Porsche
- Renault
- Saab
- Volkswagen
- Volvo

Looking sweet as with those clear indicators! 8)

went to GSF again today and i tell you what, the guy in the birmingham branch is beginning to get right on my mammaries... spesh as i seem to know more about these things third-hand thru karl & the internet ordering service than he does. does he have clear indicators? no. can he get them in from another branch on order? no. (BS or are they just disorganised?). Have they finally arrived after being in transit so long i could have cycled to the european depot and back? no!! can he get hold of smoked/clear/anything-but-bloody-orange ("amber"? i think not mate. amber is for traffic lights...) side repeaters, again via another branch if necessary? no!!!!!!

all that after having sat in traffic caused by the m6 roadworks for 20 minutes to cover about 3/4 of a mile! i'll be on the phone or over the net for them now - i think £3 or so postage is a bargain to avoid that hassle again. it all went smoothly i trust, karl, except for the possible colour issue?? (i dont know whether one is darker than the other, its possibly just one side catching the light and the other in shadow.. or a dodgy camera!)

rrrg...

I'm still investigating this myself. This time they were very efficient in processing the order (these lights were the fruit of my second attempt with GSF), and quoted me a date for delivery and met it.

The story was that Middlesex (who I can gather deal with web orders) only had right side in. They checked their databases, and found Portsmouth had a left. Now I suppose its understandable that they could end up different colours, as Middlesex wouldn't have been able to check the manufacturer for the left hand side (just the fact it was in or not). So I can only see the problem being that one side has a creamy coloured plastic backing, while the other has a darker grey backing (like the standard amber jobs).

All I can think of is that part of this backing shows around the edge of the clear lense. So having a darker backing makes the lense appear darker, etc (you get the point). Basically one appears lighter than the other because of this backing.

I'm gonna see whether Hella (original OE manufacturer of the amber jobs) produce clear indicators. They should be slightly better. I dunno though.

I have Hella clear indicators on mine. Cost about £25 from Venom Motorsport and they're OE quality so no leaking or misting up like cheaper ones.

I wish I could see Venom's catalogue. My computer never likes their site, and won't display their products. I'm after some tasty looking mirror adjustment knobs and door pins from them too. I shall give them a call once I have my RAs shod with rubber.

Thanks.
