HI THERE MATE GREAT INTRO, and beautiful car, just have a question on how you got the piano black trim on the inside, and where you got it from?
As I'm really looking to get the trim around the heater controls!

Hi! I got them second hand. In germany there's currently a set. look for 'Polo 6R Klavierlack' (klavierlack = piano laquer). They are from a GTI, but also come on the R-Line and the Blue GT

- Byte27, can be 01, 02, 03 HEX, I'm not sure, try from highest to lowest.

Does this also include the light and rain sensor already? or where does the RLS (rain and light sensor) code go? 09 central electrics and then in the drop down menu for different modules?

the results:
- rain sensor works
- intermittent wipers work
- light sensor shows measurement values
- dimming mirror works
- dimming mirror works in reverse

- LED als DRL works
- LED as parking lights work
- Xenon low beam works
- Xenon high beam works when xenon on
- Cornering lights work in headlight
- Fog lights work
- DRL off when handbrake on wokrs
- Both cornering lights on in reverse works
- Single LED off for DRL with indicator

What does not work:
- High beam signal with xenon off
- Still flashing LEDs

Errors in BCM:
- no errors found related to lighting.

Try the following:

To Highbeam
Byte27------00 HEX
Byte21------0D HEX

To LEDs
All bytes are correct for leds, so I guess it has to be related to the BCM software. This is beyond my knowledge.
Unfortunately you have to use capacitors.

We have almost gotten that all lights operate in your retrofitting of xenon. (many interesting things about it)
Only remains to be checked LED license plate lights. (without resistance)

CH/LH? Have you softened the windshield?

I have OEM LED license plate lights and they work.

The windshield has been softenend indeed as suggested with a P2000 grit sand paper. It now works perfect.

I will try the other codes.

so still no luck in high beam going on when giving a signal

Ok. The problem is the cable running to PIN 37. BLACK CONNECTOR BCM https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... edit?pli=1
Checks that is fully inserted, that's the only problem, when fully inserted, everything will work correctly, you can be sure.

Where did you get the pianno black interior parts, Im in the UK and cant find them anywhere. Also do you have any photos of the gear stick and how you did the black roof lining?

Those parts are all available at you local VW dealer.
