No difference apart from a bit of metal that needs to be trimmed down to get them to fit right

hang on - I just got charged 11 quid EACH.

you must have got a bargain - the guy looked shocked when I went "what?! I thought it was 11 for both?"

so I checked with VAG parts - 21 quid inc postage for 2.

seems like they got mixed up with your order!

gutted - my lights now just went up in price by 25%!

karl - why can't you trim plastic on lights instead of metal?

Just wondering, is it just the holder that needs to be changed in order to use Mk5 lamps?
Or does any wiring need to be changed aswell?

Is it just my 6n lights that are dim or are all 6N lights dimmer than Mk5 lights?

wiring needs to change too - because the indicators move positions and the bulb holders are the same rather than reflected (like on the 6N)

I did a DIY guide - have a look in the DIY section

Cheers, so lets say I was going to take the easy option and just replace then for 6N bulbs, then are there brighter ones available? :?:

probably not - the holders might be corroded or the wires aren't earthed well so there isn't the right amount of current going to the bulbs :?

Comparing my friend's Mk5 lights to mine, his are about 80-100% more brighter than mine I reckon.
Would that tell you mine are way too dim then? :?

yeah the mk4 ones do get dim after a while, but I think it'll just be the connections. save up for some mk5 lights and builb holders and all should be well.
