I beg to differ, basically draw up a 3 dimensional image of your car. Whilst they take your car of you, say for servicing, get the dealer or mechanic and do a walk round your car, note down any defects on your sheet of paper and get them to sign for it - you take the photocopy.

They do it to us, we do it to them.

I've been through all that phoning everyday to find out they are still waiting for a 'part'.

I've come to the point now when I think why the hell should I phone them and do all the chasing. i'll let them come to me and when it's not right I can ball at them and say, if u keep me informed of whats going on we wouldn't be here in the first place.

I hope they write it off or something this time while they got it and my GAP insuance can pay for a GT

But still:
- my washer jets now clean the driver's side of the windscreen!
- the folding rear seat now folds back up!
- the steering wheel's now on straight (didn't even ask for that one - they fixed that themselves!)
- the clutch pedal now fully disengages the clutch (air blocks in system after previous replacement of master cylinder - apparently).
- and...

Deek.
did your steering wander off to the left?

mine does but i dont want to adjust it and taking it to a garage!

No, the car never had a tracking probem (although it does seem unduly sensitive to the road camber - particularly when braking) -- the squint steering wheel was caused when they took it off to get the dash out, then put it back on the wrong spines!!! It was a full 5 or so degrees out.

Deek.,

o right,
my dash is fine so no worries so far for me! (ie let the garage test the car out)

Oh well I don't care anymore, the courtesy car is approaching its 600th mile with me and it has air-con so i'm not bothered!
what is your car in for?

They damaged car earlier in the year but the paint has reacted badly to the filler or something so I took it back in and also for rattles, problem with the climate control etc...

Think it might be 19K, depends what service regime you got.

Tell me about it, it's 12 days now. and they're driving it to the body shop about 10-15 miles away which i'm not very happy about.
