I had no problems. My method was: Strip steering column of trim, take radio out, reach round and jiggle clocks around, remove plug once they are unsettled, and put the new uns in in reverse of that procedure. I also disconnetced the battery to be extra safe.

I will look into those bits for ya.

dont even need to bother with the radio either mate, so long as you have something long enough and the right diameter to poke in the release holes...

i found a couple of wooden tesco barbecue skewers, each snapped in half (to make 4) did the job beautifully :D :D

Yeah me2, did the old coat hanger trick :wink: bent it round in the exact same shape as the VAG ones I reckon. But still didn't manage to push them out completly :roll: . So I just resorted to radio out, push in the pins, twizle. (After taking the column surround off ofcourse).
