Morning all,

I currently run a DTUK box on my Polo GTI 2016 bought back in January, I fitted the system when the car was 3 weeks old and on 700 miles. (8 months ago) The car is now on 25,000 miles without a single issue. It's a DSG Car pushing out 243.5bhp/268lbft from just the box. AFR is also running fine. I have dyno graphs showing both the rolling road figures at the fly... normally around 20bhp less at the wheels and the AFR. I am happy to provide anyone with both graphs if they are interested.. i'm easy enough to find or alternatively you can drop me an email to [email protected].

The DTUK box plugs in to fuel, boost and camshaft sensors on the engine.. using the camshaft sensor the DTUK box is able to read the exact engine speed and add in the extra fuel and boost accordingly... it's not simply just dumping a lot of fuel in to the engine.

As for the software... it was developed by the guys up in stanley as soon as they got hold on a car... the manufacturers are DTE systems in Germany, they have a £120,000 dyno and all the figures are tested. They then take the vehicle to Austria to get full TUV approval on the kit before offering it out to a customer. Fair to say these boxes are the cream of the crop.

As for remaps... well personally I wouldn't recommend APR or Revo on these engines.. I raced a 'stage 1' APR car up at crail 2 weekends ago and it couldn't get close... baring in mind that was running 10bhp and 30lbft more..... so my question is.. why void your full warranty having a map that you can't just simply remove because of TD1 when you can have more for less.... and to second that if you go on to youtube and watch the video DTUK Polo GTI v APR stage 2 Polo GTI... you will see the same results...

The DTUK box comes with the 5 year warranty and loaded with 3 programs each with 7 settings.... software is always being updated as they have a Polo GTI now on fleet - they have probably put 100+ hours in to the software now.....

Oh and just to add... for anyone who doesn't know these cars are coming with Faulty turbos.... If you map it, have fun gaining a replacement so just a heads up!
