Unfortunatley, not being a mod of this forum, I can't edit it. But I will leave you with this.

The reason we have an active swear filter is because we try and encourage genuine conversation. Swearing (especially on the net) generally is the idiots way of trying to get there point accross and shows a huge lack of intelligence imho. Now i'm not calling anyone an idiot, even i've done it without realising. But come on Guys, trying to beat the swear filter isn't on is it?

Also, some of the people who peruse this site can be of any age and other people can be easily offended.
Luckily, we have a good mod squad who clear up things relatively quickly. but it's a pity there isn't a record of how many new people have joined, taken a look on a topic like this and then left again.

Could we please keep the swearing to a bare minimum please? In future, if anyone has noticed a swear word escaping the filter, can you please replace them with hash'es (***) etc.

Also, if you care to look at the 'Announcements' forum you'll see another good reason

I had the same thing done to both my cars in Bath so I know how you feel. I had a BMW (E plate) and thought it was the car that drew attention but after my I got my Polo the same thing happened again.

I think a plastic bag, a field and a self dug shallow grave should be applied to the sad kids who think its funny to mess with peoples cars, im still quite young (22) and no angel but I never messed with peoples cars as its just not the done thing.

Sorry to here its happening where you are.

i think the buggers just have no fear of reprisal.... round my way there would have been plenty of chances to do stupid stuff like that considering the hours i was out, but i still didnt do anything - on the rare occasion such temptation beckoned (eg a badly parked merc blocking my progress from street to door) i held back... half thru fear of being battered (its an ok area but you never know who might be where), half of having to pay for the damage out of meagre wages (2p a copy) and half of the ear chewing and other punishments that might result... all from some weekend night owl spotting me in the act.

the cocks who did that to you guys cars probably think they can keep doing it and always get away scot free - hopefully someone somewhere with very large muscles and a short temper will be up working late at home and just passing by an open window when they set to work on their bonnet at some point.
