Your 6R can handle the static cornering lights but you will probably need to install new power wires for the fog lights (isolating the current ones).
In the 6R, the SCLs are managed by the BCM depending on the signals received by the steering ring with G85 angle sensor.
Your 6R has ESP therefore it has G85.
Your BCM has the necessary pins to send the signals to the fog lights.
Quick check to see if your 6R has the right wires:
- If the fuse box has fuse 54, your 6R does not have SCLs on the fog lights. (Only foglights)
- If the fuse box has fuse 57, it is possible that it has SCLs in the foglights except some exceptions.
It is a relatively easy retrofit in case you have to install the new wires.
The set of wires is sold at kufatec, eBay, etc. (wiring for 6R fog lights
under BCM control)
The BCM pins involved and required are:
T73a / 7 signal received from the light switch to activate the fog lights.
T73b / 9 and 10 to send the signals to the fog lights, both for fog lights and SCLs.
T73b / 11 +30 power received from fuse 57.
This is a diagram that I made a long time ago for the same circumstance at hand.

Keep in mind that you have to physically check all the pins-wires on your 6R.
The original wires, if fuse 54, must be isolated even if they are in any of the indicated positions. (except ground wires)

Some adaptations in the BCM for SCLs are possible. Check out the first page of my 6R thread to find out more. (there are several links followed where I show the topic of automatic lights)

The BCM can handle SCLs, but without the proper wires it doesn't matter how many times you try to code it.
